Comments:

Well it’s the first of August and a lot of work has been accomplished in an attempt to elevate the habitat quality of our property so far this year. Several new food plots have been established, several existing food plots have been expanded, and a 5 year timber cutting plan has been developed and partially ribbioned off already. This plan to cut 60-80 acres every 12-18 months will augment the 2 year cutover we now have in the central part of the property. It will ensure that we have several different aged cutover segments elevating our ability to hold deer by offering continuously new cover and browse for many years to come. We still have a little work to do with deer stand movement and planting of food plots being just around the corner…stayed tuned for some upcoming work days!  CJ

Goals

The goal is to have a safe, fun and family friendly place to hunt.  The attempt is to develop a diverse hunting property that will provide quality habitat for wildlife with a focus on deer and turkey. We have approximately 1300 Acres of contiguous “Session’s Property” that will serve as trophy whitetail hunting that membership may have year around access to. Through private ownership and land owner agreements, we actually control wildlife habitat endeavors on over 2000 contiguous acres.  A few simple concepts will be incorporated.

  • Always keep membership to at least 100 acres per person.
  • Deer quota of 4 bucks (1 for a Guest) and 5 doe.
  • Winter and Summer Food plots.
  • Feeding stations set up with corn, protein and salt licks.
  • New and accurate maps to show stand locations and wind direction.
